Limit the use of social networks
It’s frustrating to see everyone’s “perfect” online life, especially when you’re feeling depressed and stuck. Why torture yourself like that? The problem is simple, you can solve it with a snap of your finger: just deleting social media accounts feels like too much time. Even science has proven this: people with too much exposure to social networks feel lonely and more prone to depression.

Exploit your space
Imagine this: you are feeling tired and lazy and have no motivation to work. And on top of that, your room is a mess. Your cluttered space adds to your sense of fatigue. This is really not good at all. So set a timer for at least 5 minutes and tidy up your space. It can be a desk or even a bed. This will begin to help you release the negative energies in your space. You can also turn on the music, dance a little and your bad mood will be gone in no time!

Let’s get out of the house
It would have been nice to curl up in that soft blanket a little longer. However, this is also a trap that you easily fall into and you end up feeling lazy and worse about yourself. As an alternative to that never-ending Netflix marathon, try enjoying the fresh air outdoors. Science has proven that reducing sunlight produces higher levels of melatonin, making you lazy and prone to negative thoughts. This is also one of the causes of winter depression.

Reduce blue light
Your circadian rhythm (sleep/wake cycle) is disrupted primarily by blue light. Your melatonin release slows down when you’re exposed to this type of light for a long time. If you’re glued to your phone before bed, you’ll wake up feeling sluggish and tired. The blue light found in devices like phones, computers, TVs, and even e-readers may not sound like you’re doing any harm. Always make sure you put your tech devices away at least an hour before bed.

Wear comfortable clothes like work to make working from home more productive
Not taking care of yourself when you’re feeling the worst is a common mistake people make. Not only will you feel frustrated, but you will also feel confused about what to do. Choose a beautiful clothes that you really like, feel comfortable, take care of your skin and hair. By the end of this self-care routine, you’ll feel better and motivated to carry on with your day.

Create a vision board to hang in the room
The vision board is essentially a collage of pictures, text, or drawings. It is daily motivation to make your dreams come true. The planner will help you understand what you want out of this life. Just thinking about your bright and successful future will cheer you up. Take old magazine cutouts or print pictures and stick them on the board, add quotes and maybe paste over some of your photos. Now are you ready to conquer your own dreams?

Dance to any song or move
If you feel too depressed, do it through movement. You can dance to a certain song or exercise to improve your mood. Dancing will help you release endorphins (happy hormones) that help you avoid feeling lazy, bored and depressed in the winter. In addition, dancing can help you rest after boring or tiring work.
