Bizarro

Bizarro is the result of Lex Luthor’s experiments on the square planet Bizarro (a planet opposite to Earth) when trying to combine Superman and human DNA. This reverse version is much weaker compared to Superman. While Superman is agile and clever, Bizarro is extremely clumsy, Superman has eyes that shoot fire and breathes out ice, whereas Bizarro shoots ice out of his eyes and mouth and breathes out fire.

Originally destined to be a hero, Bizarro is seen as an “error” version of Superman in many ways. For example, Superman is smart, but Bizarro is completely stupid. These things make Bizarro “hated”. Painful, sad and disoriented, Bizarro gradually stepped into the path of being the bad guy like the Joker or Lex Luthor.

Doomsday

Doomsday in the original DC Comics comics is very different from the cinematic Doomsday we see in Batman vs Superman. It wasn’t created from General Zod’s corpse in the Krypton’s regeneration chamber. The origins of Doomsday are much more complicated than that.

In Comics, DOOMSDAY (or its original name, The Ultimate Lifeform) is the product of an alien scientist. About 250.000 years ago, he chose the harsh planet Krypton to raise the child The Ultimate Lifeform. The monstrous scientist decided to train this child to be a “living weapon” by creating a swarm of monsters to hunt it down and kill it again and again. Fortunately and unfortunately, The Ultimate Lifeform has the ability to regenerate. Marking the deaths, the child adheres to the harsh training process, when he grows up he takes revenge by killing all the monsters and scientists and then flees to other planets to destroy life. Down on Earth, he encountered the Justice League and was given the name DOOMSDAY which means “Earth’s End”.

Doomsday’s power is immense and has no specific limits and it is almost immortal. Due to his adaptive body, Doomsday has the ability: psychic resistance, Kryptonite resistance, fire blowing, energy shield and bone shooting to attack. Doomsday has defeated Darkseid, Superman, hundreds of Green Lanterns, and a number of other powerful cosmic entities that have also been defeated by it. In the comics, these powerful entities can only unite to chase Doomsday to another place or trap it, but never kill it.

He devised a plan to attack Batman and Superman, causing a war between the two to take place.

Lex Luthor, although he does not have any supernatural powers, he is a cunning schemer and extremely calculating. Lex kidnaps Superman’s mother and girlfriend, creating the monster Doomsday, the cause of the superhero’s death. Until the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, viewers still wonder if Lex Luthor still has a plan to hinder the group of heroes.

Bane

Bane was born in Santa Prisca (DC Comics’ fictional Caribbean country). His father was the leader of a revolution in this country but failed and was outlawed. The corrupt government in this country decided to sentence Bane to life hard labor in place of his father. Therefore, Bane’s childhood and adolescence lived entirely in a prison environment.

During his time in prison, Bane often carried on his shoulder a teddy bear he called Osito (meaning “Little Bear” in Spanish), which he considered his only friend. This bear has a hole in its back that contains a dagger that Bane used to defend himself in prison. In a harsh environment, Bane’s natural instincts kicked in. He learned to fight, to be resilient and agile. Bane made his first murder when he was eight years old, stabbing a criminal who wanted to use him to gain information in the prison. With his stubbornness and ruthlessness and perfect hand-to-hand combat skills, Bane quickly became the captain of the prison and he called himself Bane ever since.

Growing up, the government decided to use Bane as a test specimen for a secret substance called Venom. Bane was fortunate to be the only survivor and discovered the secret substance that gave him tremendous power. However, Bane must take it every 12 hours to maintain this strength, or else will suffer from debilitating side effects. Then Bane escaped from prison and became a professional killer.
