After more than a century of tireless struggle for equality and freedom of women around the planet, March 8 every year has really become a festival of women all over the world striving for the goal of Equality. Equality – Development and Peace. For Vietnamese women, March 8 is also the anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising – a heroic and rare event in the history of the nation and humanity. The uprising marked the first time in the history of the nation against foreign invaders and proved the great ability of Vietnamese women not only to be responsible in production and bravely to sacrifice in battle, but also to have the ability to fight. ability to organize and lead the people to defeat enemies much stronger than themselves. It is the endless glory and pride of generations of Vietnamese women.

Reviewing the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women and the international women’s movement so that we will forever be proud and honor the great contributions of Vietnamese women through thousands of years of struggle to build and defend the country; at the same time, it is also an opportunity for today’s generations of women to be more aware of their roles and responsibilities in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country and international integration. In particular, the celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8 and the Hai Ba Trung uprising this year becomes even more meaningful because it is marked by important historical and political events of the nation: …. the year of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 3, 07-May 51954, 07…), …. five days of liberation of the Capital (October 5, 20 – October 10, 10… ), …….five days of establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 1954, 10-10 December 20….). For women, we also welcome another important event, which is the anniversary of …….. the year of Hai Ba Trung’s birth (August 22, 12-August 1944, 22… .) and a summary of activities in the first half of the term …………….. They are also the driving forces that motivate all classes of women in the whole District to emulate and do many good deeds. to practical welcome.

In these days, together with the women of the capital, women from all walks of life in Cau Giay District have been organizing many meaningful activities: It is the Spring Green Chung Cake Festival ……… ……., is the launching ceremony of sanitation in response to the year of urban order and civilisation in the year 20…, and the works “For a home for poor members”, the action program for Truong Sa life. love… and many other practical works and works registered to be performed held today are also one of the peak activities.

Coming to the celebration of International Women’s Day 8/3 today is the convergence of talented faces and vocalists selected from the 20th Lullaby and Folk Song Festival…. simultaneously held at 100% of the Association’s establishments on the occasion of the 8/3 anniversary of this year.
