Be less angry
According to Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, anger is like a storm rising from the depths of consciousness. When you feel it, take a deep breath to regain your sanity, then look at or think of the person you are angry with, and think about whether that person may be unhappy or in pain. You certainly don’t want that yourself. You will want to say something or do something nice to help ease their discomfort. It is compassion that has been born in you, when it arises, anger will dissipate.
Westerners believe that for every minute of anger, you lose 60 seconds of happiness. When anger has flared up, try to calm down and think about how serious the incident is and then take action to avoid regret later. Every time you control the fire of anger in you, you have conquered yourself to some extent.

Accept what you have
When you enter your forties, you already have a stable life, but sometimes you suddenly wonder why people of your age are so rich and happy. People often tend to wonder and worry about what they don’t have without thinking about what they have achieved.
Let go of those torments and try to list the things we have to see if they are beneficial to you, and then think about the harmful sides of what you do not have. Just accept what you have and stop “standing in this mountain, looking at that mountain.” It is said that “if you live in a blanket, you will know that the blanket has lice”, so if you don’t live in someone else’s life, you don’t know whether other people are happy or unhappy.

Write a letter to yourself
Turning 40 can feel daunting. Then you should make it easier by sitting down and writing yourself a letter.
List everything you’ve accomplished so far, things you’re proud of, and things you love. Then tell yourself why turning 40 would be the best thing you’ve ever done.

Create a habit of reading books
In your forties, as your children begin to mature, you may feel lonely. It’s important to know how to build a routine so that you can feel positive and happy.
Reading not only keeps you busy but also has a positive attitude in life. This is also the most correct and effective way to deal with menopause.

Help others feel good
Brief conversations with the cashier outside the store or defending the company are more helpful than you think. When you open up to others, you are also giving yourself a chance to solve many problems.
Practice saying love to your loved ones. Be specific about your love. Remove all anger, animosity, conflicts… if those things are present and hinder your love. Restore the love you foolishly lost before.

Never stop exploring
Most women in their 40s think that this is the age at home to take care of their husband and children. However, you should immediately put that thought away, the world out there has countless beautiful scenes waiting for you to explore.
Traveling sounds expensive, but if you pay attention, you can find a lot of great places to travel for very low prices. Get out of the house as soon as you can, if you take a 5-minute walk every morning to breathe in the fresh air, it also makes your mood comfortable and happy.

Step out of your comfort zone
Push yourself out of your comfort zone. For example, some people want to experience the thrill of scuba diving while others want to eat something special at a favorite restaurant.
Be brave and seize the moment to do the things you thought you couldn’t or dared to do! In the short term, go shopping and change to a completely new style, of course, don’t be too “excessive” for your age. Experimenting in fashion is always fun and makes things new, but it gives you confidence whenever you dress for who you are and your personality.

Learn to not care
You need to learn to “don’t care what others think of you” but think about them if you want to be happy. You do what you like and sometimes you should pretend to be stupid. You have the right to decide your own life. When you care about what other people think of you, you are living their life, not yours.
However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be a good person. You may like to wear baggy clothes for comfort even though many people don’t find it beautiful, leave them alone you don’t care. Judging by others is useless in your life, but your ability to observe and feel about them is the opposite.

Learn to forgive yourself
Each of us has troubles and mistakes in life, so don’t blame yourself too much because that’s completely normal. Each of us has to make mistakes sometimes, we should accept that to make ourselves better.
No one can go back in time to the past to start over, so learn to forgive yourself more. Let’s start today to create a new better ending.

Stay healthy
Follow a healthy diet to stay healthy. When you are healthy, you will feel happy. Cut down on fried foods and junk food.
Give yourself a healthy diet, which includes lots of fruits and vegetables, and keep your body hydrated. Walk at least 4 times a week to stay healthy.
