Practice with rope
Doing:
- This exercise requires a 1m-long rope, preferably elastic (elastic band), with beads or other markers on it. It would be great if someone else could help.
- Good vision is assessed for each eye. Hold one end of the string close to the cheekbone (just below the eye to be examined). The other end of the rope is fixed to something at eye level. Now we find the near point of clear vision, which will be somewhere between 5 – 20cm (depending on the degree of myopia) and start moving the marker from the end of the wire (at the cheek). The goal is to find a spot where you will be able to see clearly and sharply. The image should not be blurred or blurred. We will mark this point again. Then we mark the distal point of clear vision. You begin to move the marker from the other end of the rope (for example by reaching out or asking for help) and while moving the marker towards the cheek you will find the distal point of clear vision. – is the position where you can clearly see the marker. Please mark this point again. With the near and far points of clear vision just marked, you can begin to expand the range of good vision by moving the marker 5cm to each point on both sides. Elastic bands that can be manually stretched or shortened are the perfect choice here. Calmly inhale while looking at the marker and exhale while looking away from it. This exercise should be done for about 4 minutes, but quite a few times a day (even up to 10 times a day).

Relax and soothe your eyes
This is not a complicated exercise, it’s like a very simple massage movement that will bring instant results.
Doing:
- Clasp your hands together and rub your palms together until it’s hot
- Cup your hands and place them over your eyes (there is a small space between the palm and the eyeball).
- Close your eyes in that warm palm for 5-7 seconds.
This movement looks very simple, but it is very effective for the eyes. Warm temperatures will help blood vessels dilate and blood flow to the eyes more, helping the eyes heal faster.

Practice looking at numbers
Doing:
- You write on the paper 3 numbers. For example 124, then you take off your glasses and stand far enough away for you to see the 3 numbers clearly, you look for about 1 second then you step back 1 step and look again, keep doing that until you can’t see anymore. clearly the 3 numbers you wrote again.
- You write another 3 numbers after, for example: 124.531 and continue to practice looking like that, but the time you look at the sequence of numbers will only be 0,5 seconds, then step back, then look back again. when you can’t see the number you just wrote.
- You write 3 more numbers and perform the same method as above, but the time to look at the sequence of numbers should only be fleeting.
This method is really very effective in correcting your nearsighted eyes because it forces the eyes to pay attention and focus, causing the tendons to move constantly, so it has a good effect in reducing myopia. your.

Practice with the Snellen board
Doing:
- Place a Snellen board at a distance so you can clearly see about half of the board, the rest may be blurred or not visible
- Read the letters one by one in each row clearly. Try to see their contours and see them clear and black. In this exercise, blink often, close your eyes after each, and visualize the letter you just read. Imagine it being even blacker and sharper.
- When reading the board, you can also raise your hands to the right and left of your body to eye level and move your fingers and palms. This will activate peripheral perception and reduce stress caused by central vision.
- When you get to a line where you don’t recognize the letters, don’t strain your eyes. Do not try to see or read the letters clearly. Allow your eyes to freely glide over the letters without trying to see them clearly. Observe the spaces between the letters, their black color and shape. Take slow, deep breaths, blink and wave your fingers. Every now and then, close your eyes and visualize the letters over and over in your head that the board is white and the lettering is black.
- Look down at the board and until it’s over, place your hands over your face for a moment. Then repeat the steps above but this time starting at the bottom of the board. See if the previously visible outlines of the letters are now clearer. Accept what is blurred and enjoy every detail that you can see clearly without stress.

- Using the middle and index fingers of both hands, press and rub at the same time around the eye sockets. Move your finger over points 1 to 6 as shown in the figure below.
- Massage with correct technique, you will feel a slight pressure on the eyes, tension at the numbered points (that is the acupoints around the eyes), but certainly no pain, no damage to the eyes. Doing this exercise regularly every day also helps to improve eyesight.

Practice with a wall calendar
Doing:
- The exercise requires a special wall calendar with 3 different sized digits. Fix the calendar to the wall and you will stand a distance away from it so that you can clearly see the largest, somewhat difficult to discern numbers. outputs medium sized numbers and cannot read the smallest numbers.
- Start the exercise by looking at the largest number (for example, number 1 in the picture), closing your eyes, turning your head to the right, and opening your eyes. Close your eyes and turn your head, now stopping at the next gear (in this case 2). Close your eyes again and turn your head to the left, open your eyes. Close your eyes and turn your head and look at the next number (number 3), until the first row is exhausted (1-10). Hold your hand over your face for a moment.
- Shift to the first number in the 2nd row (i.e. number 11) and, keeping your eyes open, look down to the left to the medium size number 11. Close your eyes for 1 second (imagine the number 11 and that you are moving from the large number to the middle number). Open your eyes and move your eyes to the bottom right from big 11 to medium 11. Close your eyes again.
- Repeat the same steps sequentially for the next numbers of the 2nd row (11 – 20). Hold your hand over your face for a moment. After that, continue to look at the numbers from the 3rd row (21 – 30) so that you open your eyes and look at them in turn: large 21, medium 21 on the right and finally small 21. It doesn’t matter if you can’t see 21 clearly or don’t see 21 at all. Close your eyes and visualize this movement in your head. Imagine you are looking at each number very clearly.
- Now, repeat step 5 with the next numbers from the 3rd row (21 – 30). If your eyes feel sore while doing the exercise, stop practicing. When finished, bring your palms together to warm up the eyes to help relax and soothe the eyes because this exercise puts a lot of stress on the eyes.

Eyes rolling
This exercise loosens the muscles of the eyes, which improves the blood flow of the eye area, increases the oxygen concentration in the eye, thereby improving vision.
Doing:
- Keeping your head and neck still, raise your eyes all the way to the ceiling, then all the way down. Go up and down and up and down slowly. When your eyes get tired, stop
- Keeping the head and neck still, bring the eyes to the left as far as possible, then to the right as far as possible. Go left and right quickly. When your eyes are tired, stop
- Keep your head and neck still and move your eyes clockwise and counterclockwise with maximum amplitude. 10 rounds each way.

Focusing on an object
Doing:
- Focus on a small fixed object (such as a candlelight, a dark spot) until a clear image of that object is captured by the brain. When you look at it for a long time, tears will flow, now you close your eyes and rest for a while. The purpose of the exercise is to test your eye strength until you have tears in your eyes.

Practice looking at the angle
Doing:
- You stand in front of a large rectangular or square door and look at an angle for a few seconds (about 4-5 seconds). Then, you wink and look at the other side, blink again and so on until you see all 4 sides.
- You do 6 times in a row from left to right, then continue 6 times from right to left. This exercise method is intended to make the tendons more flexible. You have to practice with square or rectangular objects, first large objects, then smaller and smaller. Starting with the big door, you continue to work with the window, the mirror, the table, the chair, the book, the small piece of paper, …
